When I started thinking about the art concept of my first stand-up comedy solo show, I knew I wanted something bold like my comedy, but I wasn’t exactly sure what could visually represent what the show is all about. So, I described the heart of Comédia Sem Pudor to my designer, Diego: a playful and unapologetic trip into the imagination of a neurodivergent woman who finds humor in everyday life, geek culture, and the LGBTQIAPN+ world. And Diego delivered everything.

The flyer perfectly captures the essence of Comédia Sem Pudor. It’s more than a poster—it’s a visual journey into the show’s spirit. The UFO symbolizes the wild ride of comedy and imagination, a place where societal norms don’t apply, and humor reigns supreme. The fiery tones and bold colors scream passion, freedom, and the confidence to say what others might only think.
This flyer isn’t just about the show; it’s about what it represents: a trip around the land of freedom—our imagination—where everything is possible, and everyone can be themselves Sem Pudor (Without Shame).
On March 8th, I stepped onto the stage of the Joker Comedy Bar with 65 incredible people in the audience, many of them bold, non-conforming women ready to laugh at the patriarchy on International Women’s Day. The night was electric, a celebration of humor, resistance, and self-expression.
The campaign behind the show, with its simple message—“Let’s celebrate International Women’s Day laughing at the Patriarchy”—drew exactly the kind of people I hoped to connect with. It wasn’t just about selling tickets; it was about creating a space for authenticity, empowerment, and unapologetic joy.
Looking back, I realize this flyer wasn’t just the start of my first stand-up comedy solo show—it was the beginning of a movement, a reminder that laughter is one of the boldest ways we can resist and reclaim our narratives.
Color Palette and Meaning
Deep Red Background:The rich red serves as a powerful foundation, symbolizing passion, confidence, and a touch of sensuality. It aligns with the show’s themes of provocative humor and boldness. Red is also a nod to the unapologetic candor Leila brings to topics like sex and pansexuality.
Golden Yellow Typography:The yellow used for the title "Comédia Sem Pudor" conveys warmth, joy, and energy. It highlights the playful, fun nature of the show while drawing immediate attention to the boldness of the name. Yellow also represents intellect and creativity, reinforcing the clever irony in Leila’s jokes.
White Highlights:The white elements provide balance and clarity. They symbolize openness and candor, underscoring Leila's straightforward, transparent comedic style.
Black Details:Black accents add contrast and sophistication, grounding the design and representing the deeper, ironic layers of Leila’s humor.
Fiery Orange in the UFO Beam and Details:Orange blends the energy of red with the optimism of yellow. It mirrors the show's vibrant, eclectic mix of themes and Leila's dynamic stage presence.
Soft Beige Upper Border:The torn-paper effect and neutral beige tone evoke a sense of breaking through conventional boundaries, a perfect visual metaphor for the way Leila challenges societal norms and expectations through comedy.
The flyer’s visual elements and color choices are not only aesthetically appealing but also highly symbolic. They mirror Leila Soul’s unique voice, setting the stage for a comedy show that promises to entertain, challenge, and inspire.
Advertising Campaign Impact
"Laughing at the Patriarchy: A Night to Celebrate Bold, Unapologetic Women"
On March 8th, International Women's Day, Haki Creative launched Comédia Sem Pudor—a stand-up comedy show that invited bold, non-conforming women to break free, laugh, and celebrate their individuality.
The campaign’s mission was simple yet powerful: to bring women together to defy norms and stereotypes through the unapologetic art of comedy. With the theme "Let’s Celebrate International Women’s Day Laughing at the Patriarchy," the campaign to advertise the show centered around the message of "a space where humor met rebellion, and empowerment met joy."
Held at the vibrant Joker Comedy Bar, Comédia Sem Pudor drew an audience of 65 women and allies, creating an intimate yet electric atmosphere. Leila Soul’s performance—layered with geek culture, LGBTQIAPN+ perspectives, and ironic takes on everyday taboos—struck a chord with everyone present. The laughter wasn’t just entertainment; it was an act of resistance and self-expression.
Through clever marketing, engaging visuals, and a clear message of empowerment, the campaign amplified its reach to attract exactly the kind of audience it envisioned: daring women who celebrate their complexity and embrace humor as a form of liberation.
This first edition of Comédia Sem Pudor not only marked a successful debut but also set the stage for a movement where laughter becomes a weapon against societal expectations, inspiring others to unapologetically own their stories.
