LEILA SOUL
Leila Soul is a Brazilian comedian, entrepreneur, and marketing strategist with over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, brand positioning, messaging strategy, and storytelling. In other words, she knows how to sell stuff, including herself.
Born and raised on an island in southeast Brazil, Leila has built the kind of career path that makes perfect sense only after you explain it three times.
She started out doing whatever paid the bills, worked her way from data entry clerk to marketing director, and eventually became a creative strategist, comedy writer, and studio founder.
Somewhere along the way, she also decided that getting on stage and telling jokes to strangers sounded like a reasonable use of her free time.
Her entrepreneurial journey started in 2015 on Upwork, during the golden age of the “digital nomad” dream. Leila technically joined the movement, although most of the nomading happened between her desk, her couch, and the kitchen.
Since then, she has spent more than a decade helping businesses figure out what to say, how to say it, and — most importantly — how to make people care.
Today, she combines creative strategy, marketing, storytelling, and comedy to build advertising that feels less like advertising.
She is especially interested in the space where performance marketing meets entertainment: ideas that can sell a product without making people immediately want to scroll away.
At Haki Creative, that means helping DTC brands find sharper positioning, stronger creative concepts, and a voice that sounds like it belongs to an actual human being.
Because brands should have a personality.
Preferably one that isn't a corporate LinkedIn post.
